FOR COMMUNITY, FOR COUNTRY! The Wisconsin Army National Guard was established on March 5th, 1837. The Wisconsin Army National Guard is made up of approximately 7,700 Soldiers. Our Soldiers live in Wisconsin by their family and friends. They also work civilian jobs and go to college full time. Guard Soldiers conduct training one weekend a month and a two week annual training once each year. The Wisconsin Army National Guard responds to national emergencies as well as local Wisconsin community emergencies such as natural disasters. You will receive military job training, paycheck, educational benefits (100% COLLEGE TUITION), and much more.
